b.) If the Information Bar (just below the URL bar) prompts for permission to install the

ActiveX Control for displaying video in browser (see the figure below). Right click on the

Information Bar and select “Install ActiveX Control…” to allow the installation.

c.) If a security warning window prompts, click “Install”.

d.) In the wizard for installing a component application DC Viewer appears, follow the steps

of the wizard to complete the installation.

NOTE: If you change the password, and you are using the DVTel Latitude

AdminCenter Discovery feature, you will need to deselect all other proprietary types

and select only DVTel HD Series so that you can configure the new password in the

Discovery tab settings.

Additionally, users can change the IP Camera’s network property, either DHCP or Static IP

directly in the device finding list. Refer to the following section for changing the IP Camera’s

network property.
